As bees are sadly declining at an alarming rate, here’s how you can encourage them into your garden: •Choose flat, shallow and colourful blossom plants to attract a large variety of bees • Reduce pesticide use, or use pollinator- friendly alternatives • Place an insect house in your garden to give bees a safe place to nest and lay their eggs • Provide water such as a pond or bird bath • Cut the grass less often to provide shelter and a place for bees to feed
